From October to April, Cabo Roig changes gear
The August crowds go home and what is left is the part that actually makes this coast good: you can park, you can walk into a restaurant without booking, and Cala Capitán, four minutes away on foot, is more or less your own. Sunny days are the rule rather than the exception, and December and January highs sit around 17-19 °C.
It is why thousands of Britons, Dutch, Germans and Scandinavians come down here each winter instead of staying at home paying for heating. Our four studios are 300 metres from the beach, with a pool and with air conditioning that heats as well as cools: set up for three months, not for a weekend.
Prices
One, two or three months
Price per studio per month, VAT included. The longer you stay, the less you pay each month.
One month
For trying a winter out here, or for a month of remote work away from the cold.
Two months
The classic: come out in January and head back when spring arrives at home.
Where this price comes from
The same studio, let night by night in low season, is paid night by night. A long stay is a different arrangement: you give us the certainty of a studio occupied all winter, and we give you a price that looks nothing like a week's holiday. No changeovers, no cleans every three days, no commission — that is what gets saved, and that is what brings the price down.
Minimum stay 28 nights. We put the final price in writing, with what is and is not included, before you pay anything.
The Christmas and New Year period (18 December to 6 January) is not part of the monthly rate: it is quoted separately. If your stay covers those dates we tell you plainly and in writing before you book, with no surprises.
The studio
What is already there
Each studio sleeps up to 4: a double bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a kitchen. You arrive with a suitcase and nothing else.
Heating and air conditioning
Heating included — in winter that is the part that actually matters.
Fibre broadband
Free in the apartment. Fine for working and for video calls.
Fully equipped kitchen
Fridge, hob, microwave, coffee maker and utensils.
Towels and bed linen
Made up before you arrive. Nothing to bring.
Pool and 100 m² terrace
Communal pool with a children's area, plus the terrace of the complex.
Safe
One in every apartment.
On-street parking
Free and in the same street. There is no garage or private car park.
Cleaning and linen change
Included. We agree how often with you, depending on how long you stay.
Working remotely
If you work from a laptop, it hardly matters where from
Free fibre broadband in the apartment, heating and cooling so January is comfortable to work in, and a terrace to step out onto when you log off. The shops are five minutes on foot and the beach four. We are a WhatsApp away if anything goes wrong.

Alicante-Elche 45 minutes away and Murcia-Corvera 25 minutes by car.

This rate only exists here
On Booking and Airbnb we sell by the night, and the platform takes its commission on every booking. A stay of several months does not fit that format: for it to come out at this price it has to be a direct arrangement between you and us.
That means you are talking to the person who holds the keys, not to a call centre. That if something breaks in February we are the ones who fix it. And that the price and the terms are agreed in writing, with nobody in the middle charging a percentage for being there.

Long-term winter lets in Cabo Roig and Orihuela Costa
Apartahotel La Rotonda lets its studios by the month from November to March in Cabo Roig, Orihuela Costa (Alicante, southern Costa Blanca). We are at Calle del Agua 3, 300 metres from Cabo Roig beach, with Mercadona and Consum five minutes away on foot and the restaurants directly across from the building.
It is the long-standing way of overwintering on the Costa Blanca: one, two or three months in Spain instead of a northern European winter. Every studio has heating and air conditioning, fibre broadband, an equipped kitchen, towels and bed linen, a safe and access to the communal pool and its terrace. There is free on-street parking.
There is enough around for a whole winter: golf at Villamartín, Las Ramblas and Campoamor 10-15 minutes away, the La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre ten minutes by car, Torrevieja with its market and salt lakes 15 minutes away, and a Saturday market on the Cabo Roig promenade. Alicante-Elche airport is 45 minutes away and Murcia-Corvera 25.
